Description

Versatile Full-Color Printing on Rigid and Dimensional Media

The Xanté X-36 is a compact UV flatbed printer designed for direct printing on rigid, flexible and dimensional substrates. With a 24 × 36-inch full-bleed image area and clearance for objects up to six inches tall, it allows print providers to produce signage, promotional products, decorative graphics and customized objects in house.

Dual LED lamps cure the ink immediately, producing durable output that is ready for handling as soon as it leaves the printer. The X-36 operates on standard 110-volt power and is designed to fit through a standard doorway for straightforward installation.

Print More Than Flat Signs

The X-36 prints directly on a broad range of materials and three-dimensional objects. Its CMYK plus four-channel white ink configuration provides strong color and opacity on clear, colored and dark substrates.

Five white-printing modes—including flood white, active-pixel white, inactive-pixel white, spot white and no white—give operators precise control over underprinting and specialty effects. A white-frosting feature can also create varying levels of opacity on glass, acrylic and other transparent surfaces.

An available jig expands production possibilities further by securely positioning golf balls and other small objects for repeatable printing.

Add Gloss, Texture and Dimension

The X-36 can build layers of UV-cured ink to create raised textures, dimensional graphics and tactile effects. Texture controls within iQueue simplify this process without requiring operators to construct complex layered artwork during prepress.

The system can also produce gloss effects without a separate varnish. These capabilities allow print providers to offer dimensional displays, decorative graphics, specialty products and other high-value applications beyond conventional flat printing.

ADA-Compliant Braille Printing

Multiple passes of white ink can be used to build the rounded, raised dots required for ADA-compliant Braille signage. Controlled through iQueue, this capability makes it possible to produce accessible signs and communication materials on demand without a separate Braille production system.

iQueue Workflow

The X-36 includes a Windows 11 computer and Xanté’s iQueue Workflow software. iQueue provides tools for job preparation, color management, white-ink control, variable data, sequential numbering, paneling, gloss effects and dimensional printing.

The paneling feature divides oversized artwork across multiple printed sections, allowing users to create displays and installations larger than the printer’s individual image area.
