The Memjet printhead is a marvel of inkjet design, with five independent channels packed into a single print bar that has a wide 8.77” . This fixed head concept brings real productivity to full color printing without sacrificing quality. The five channels (Cyan, Yellow, Magenta, Black and Black) have 70,400 nozzles for true, sharp 1600 x 1600 dots per inch. Capable of 6 inches per second at this dpi and 12 inches per second at 1600 x 800 dpi printing, the RENA Mach 5 offers real world production speeds of 9,000 pieces per hour. Compared to toner based printers like LED or Laser printers, which print up to 1200 dpi and 3,000 pieces per hour the RENA Mach 5 Digital Color Printer has a clear advantage in productivity.
